BE FORTIVUS.

Rugby in Illinois is growing, and Fortivus Academy is helping lead that growth.

Fortivus Academy develops youth and high school rugby players across Illinois through high-quality coaching, structured training, and real opportunities to compete.

We focus on building confident, skilled players who can think for themselves. Our approach reflects the traditions of rugby by encouraging freedom, awareness, and decision-making, not over-coaching or rigid systems. Essentially our mantra is to develop the player, not just the game plan.

Fortivus Academy works alongside local clubs across Illinois to strengthen development, not replace it. Stronger players build stronger teams, and stronger teams grow the game.

Fortivus Academy Rugby creates a pathway for players who want more from the game.

It brings together players from across Illinois who are motivated to improve, compete, and continue developing beyond the traditional season. By providing an additional layer of training, competition, and exposure, Fortivus Academy ensures players have the opportunity to keep growing, not stand still. Our pathway is about more than just extra rugby. It connects players, raises standards, and opens doors to wider opportunities within the game. The goal is simple: give players who love rugby the environment, support, and pathway to go further.

At the heart of Fortivus Academy is our commitment to making sport accessible for every child, no matter their background or circumstance.

We believe talent should never be limited by money, and opportunity should belong to everyone.

Through scholarships, financial assistance, and community support, The Fortivus Foundation ensures that every athlete has the chance to train, compete, and grow.

Because when kids are given the chance to play, they don’t just become better athletes — they become stronger, more confident people.
